Born in 1979 in Quimper, France, Eric Grauffel is one of the most dominant figures in the world of competitive shooting. He is married, has two children, and speaks French, English, and Italian.

Eric’s passion for shooting began at the age of 8, spending weekends at the range with his father. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession, driving him to compete at the highest level. He won multiple national titles in France, followed by 8 European championships, several USPSA national titles, and an unprecedented 9 IPSC World Champion titles. He is the only shooter in history to have won all of his world championships consecutively, across the three main IPSC divisions: Open, Production, and Standard.

To maintain his elite status, Eric trains 5 to 6 days a week, mastering different pistol platforms to stay sharp across all divisions. Beyond competition, he is also a respected businessman, operating a gun store and custom shop. He shares his expertise through the EG-CZ Academy, where he coaches shooters from around the world. The Academy hosted an open day on September 1st, 2022, offering exclusive lessons to shooting enthusiasts worldwide.
